Alex Rodriguez Kept Signed Jennifer Lopez Photo from 20 Years Ago & Shared It on Instagram

Today in adorable couples, Alex Rodriguez has revealed that he's always been just as big a J.Lo fan as the rest of the world, way before they were even dating.

In a ridiculously cute Instagram post, Rodriguez shared a photo of a signed picture of Jennifer Lopez that he acquired almost 20 years ago. That's right—long, long, long before they were ever romantically linked, a young baseball player got a singing and acting superstar to sign a photo for him. And he never threw it out.

Realizing just how crazy this coincidence is, Rodriguez captioned the autograph, "#TBT to almost 20 years ago when a big time global pop superstar signed a pic for a young ball player #lifecanbeafunnythingsometimes #pictureperfect #keepsake #jlo." Clearly, Rodriguez is pretty happy about the way things turned out:

Lopez and Rodriguez crossed paths several times, before eventually starting to date in 2017.

In fact, back when Lopez was married to fellow singer Marc Anthony, she was pictured alongside A-Rod on the baseball field in 2005:

In March 2018, Lopez revealed to Harper's BAZAAR that she wasn't rushing into marriage again (she's been divorced three times). The Wedding Planner star explained, "I do believe in marriage, and I would love to grow old with somebody in a committed relationship. But I'm not forcing anything right now. It's good, it's healthy; we communicate well. We understand each other's lives in a way that most other people couldn't."

Whether or not J.Lo and A-Rod ever decide to tie the knot, it's clear that they're extremely happy together right now.
